Taipei Taiwan - Feb. 26, 2013, This year’s 2013 International Open Data Day event was hosted in Taipei. The event’s purpose was to gain support and appeal to all levels of governments for Open Data. More than a 100 cities around the world responded to this event this year, including Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. The Taipei region was organized by Code for Tomorrow and co-hosted by Etu. Over 130 plus attendees participated in this event, ranging from potential users, developers, statisticians, designers, journalists, and civilians.

Etu Earns Bragging Rights for Being the First Hadoop-Based Big Data Product to Ever Receive the Honor of the 2012 I.T. Month Award
Taipei Taiwan - Oct. 29, 2012, Taipei Taiwan, The biggest IT Industry Award in Taiwan focusing on design and research & development disclosed the winners of the 2012 I.T. Month Outstanding I.T. Application/Products Award. Etu, the leading Asian brand for Big Data was presented the Outstanding I.T. Application/Products Award for their design of the Hadoop-based Big Data Etu Appliance by the judges in the category of “System, Application, and Software Tool” after a strict three part competition process. Etu Appliance Awarded Innovative Technology by TAITRONICS
Taipei Taiwan - Oct. 1, 2012, Etu has been aiming its sights on overcoming the Big Data challenges for Enterprises and unlocking the hidden values in Big Data. Etu, a Big Data Solution vendor was recently recognized and awarded this year the Innovative Technology Awards by TAITRONICS for their innovative Etu Appliance, which is essentially a Big Data end-to-end solution in a box. The select group of judges from ITRA (Industrial Technology Research Institute) based their decisions on different criteria such as product innovation,industry contribution, market value, the concept, and procedure of energy saving.
The Etu Appliance was one of few enterprise products to be presented with this award. Etu was able to edge out other competitors in the category of "Cloud Technology and Internet of Things".
